i am on a life-long quest.

a quest to discover who i am and to continuously transform into the woman that GOD wants me to be. i think there are some things about me that have already been established.

1. i am a child of GOD: hands down, the most important aspect of my life.

2. i love randomness and adventures: i like to be moving. whether its moving halfway across the country or making a middle-of-the-night escapade with friends. the only way i usually sit still is if i’m reading or writing or watching a movie, all of which cause my mind to move to far-off places and ideas.

3. i enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories: everyone has a different tale. and since no one has lived the same life, hearing about the experiences of others fuels my imagination.

4. i thrive off of emotion and feelings: this is both good and bad. its bright side is that i tend to be very passionate, compassionate and caring. the negative aspect is that sometimes i rely too much on the way i feel and base my rationale off of that.

5. i’m not easily stressed: this is also a win-lose character trait. it’s nice because i don’t worry easily or often. but at the same time, sometimes i don’t take certain things as seriously as i should. like school.

life on the other side of the counter is interesting. there is an extremely broad variety of people that venture through the doors of a coffee shop and i have had the privilege of getting to know many of them. I love people. ive always been intrigued by the interesting personalities and unique characteristics that define someone. people have a tendency of catching me off guard and I often find myself surprised at how off-base my initial judgments are.
